Job Purpose

The Digital Strategy division of Royal Enfield's Global Brand team is responsible for providing thoughtful,thorough and robust strategy for all digital touch-points (Web,Mobile,Search,Social,Display,and video).The Social Media editor will be a part of this team with a specific focus on editing,revising,and producing a broad variety of effective and efficient communication and messaging streams and ensuring daily content upload / refresh on the website and ensuring continuous engagement with consumers

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and manage an industry leading practice for digital and social media content
- Digital Social Campaign and content strategy to drive growth
- Edits publications according to specifications for style,tone,and length, while also ensuring correct use of grammar,Punctuation,and spelling.
- Assists writers with selecting and finalizing artwork,photography,and text for reproduction.
- Ensures articles,manuals,proposals,and other publications meet style,formatting,and general quality standards
- Ensures publications are completed on time and within applicable budget constraints.
- Examines physical proofs of printed materials
- Confirms that publications meet customer specifications
- Maintains current knowledge of developments and trends in the area of content specialty.

Work Experience

Education
- Bachelor’s degree (Full Time) - Advertising, Communications, Journalism
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Certification in Social Media management is Preferred

Experience
- 4 to 7 years of experience (2 years with Social agency / brand agency is preferred)
- Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, social listening and reporting.

Preferred
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with text management and desktop publishing software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.
