We have a fantastic Employment Advisor opportunity for an individual looking for a full time, permanent role based in Birmingham City Centre.

Our client are currently on a hunt to find passionate people who want to work on the Restart contract and make differences to support people closer to employment. The contract was introduced by the government to help people get back to work by focusing on barriers participants are facing when going out to market and engaging with the disengaged, arming them with confidence, skills and the right attitude.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Perform comprehensive initial and continuous evaluations of participants to address their employment requirements and create customised plans to facilitate goal attainment.
- Attend Job Centres to engage with participants that are disengaged or have been long term unemployed, providing them with details of Restart and influence them join the contract.
- Manage a high caseload of participants supporting with various goals from employment, training and other supportive contracts.
- Establish personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Customer Service Standards..
- Engage with employers or other referral partners to identify fitting job or training opportunities for individuals on your caseload, acting as a liaison between employers and participants to facilitate successful placements.
- Provide ongoing support to individuals who have transitioned into employment to ensure their long-term retention.
- Fulfill any additional duties relevant to the position's level of responsibility.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer activities on the companies management system.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Prior experience working on funded programmes supporting people into employment or education e.g. Restart, JETS, Work and Health, IPS etc.
- Experience working in a targeted role where KPIs are measured frequently.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage diary booking and manage time efficiently.
- Strong understanding of the welfare and employability sector.
- IT literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage a caseload and demonstrate behaviors to influence participants in the right direction.
