Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert medical care to critically ill patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac arrest, neurological emergencies, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in the ICU, including assessment of vital signs, neurological status, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging studies.
- Establish and manage advanced life support measures, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, renal replacement therapy, and sedation/analgesia, as necessary.
- Diagnose and manage complex medical conditions in the ICU, including acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), septic shock, acute kidney injury, and acute myocardial infarction.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, such as arterial blood gases, chest X-rays, echocardiograms, and computed tomography scans, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and consultants, to ensure integrated and multidisciplinary care of ICU patients.
- Respond to medical emergencies and cardiac arrests within the hospital, providing prompt and effective resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates on the patient's condition, prognosis, and treatment plan, and offering support and counseling during difficult times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research projects aimed at optimizing ICU care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DA) with specialization in Intensive Care or Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat, India.
- Minimum of [insert number of years] years of clinical experience as an Intensivist or Anaesthesiologist, preferably in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Proven expertise in the management of critically ill patients, including advanced airway management, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic support.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship or additional training in Critical Care Medicine or Intensive Care.
- Experience working in a rural healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi language.
