**THE INTERNSHIP - Data Science Intern (Bangalore, India)**

The internship will require coordination of in-house engineering and data & analytics projects that will include planning, strategizing and tracking the progress of the project using various methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. You will get an exposure to a hyper growth company environment and will receive mentorship from our Engineering and Data team leaders. You will be responsible for leading an individual project which will be presented to the Executive team at the end of the internship.

We are looking for interns who can think creatively and analytically, embrace ambiguity, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have a solution-focused mindset driven by making an impact.

**THE ROLE**
- Figure out optimized ways of annotating and augmenting data
- Explore different libraries/frameworks/tools to solve problems
- Good knowledge about Python and Machine learning.
- Familiarity with transformer based and generative models like GPT3, T5 and Pegasus will be preferred

**THE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related fields.
- Good technical understanding of scripting languages.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in project management software and tools will be a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum will be an advantage.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
