Medical Receptionist

Client Interaction:
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, including follow-ups and reminders.
- Address client inquiries, provide information about services, and resolve concerns or complaints effectively.
2. Administrative Duties:
- Manage the clinic's phone lines, including answering calls, transferring to appropriate staff, and taking detailed messages.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and manage billing and insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and vaccination schedules.
3. Appointment and Scheduling Management:
- Coordinate and organize daily appointment schedules for veterinarians and support staff.
- Ensure efficient use of time slots and minimize client wait times.
- Assist in managing emergency and urgent care appointments.
4. Office and Facility Management:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting rooms.
- Ensure the operational procedures are followed and updated as necessary.
5. Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other staff members to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
- Relay important medical information and instructions to clients from the veterinary team.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new reception staff and provide guidance as needed.
6. Client Education:
- Educate clients on pet care, clinic policies, and procedures.
- Provide information on preventive care, vaccination protocols, and available services.
7. Record Keeping and Data Entry:
- Accurately input and update patient and client information into the clinic's database.
- Generate and review reports related to patient visits, billing, and appointment statistics.
Qualifications:
- *Experience:* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a receptionist or front-desk role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- *Skills:*
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, appointment scheduling systems) and familiarity with veterinary management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in veterinary office management is a plus.
- *Attributes:* Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality service to clients and their pets.
Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position with potential for occasional evening or weekend shifts.
- Requires standing or sitting for extended periods and some lifting of supplies or equipment.
- Work environment will involve exposure to animals.
Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
