We're looking for **Assistant Script Writer, **Freshers are also welcome

Must have proficiency in English and Malayalam language.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Research**: Conduct thorough research on topics, themes, or background information relevant to the script being developed.
- **Outlining**: Assist in creating outlines and story structures for scripts, including character development, plot points, and scene breakdowns.
- **Writing Assistance**: Collaborate with the scriptwriter to draft dialogue, scenes, or other script elements as needed, following established guidelines and instructions.
- **Proofreading and Editing**: Review and edit scripts for clarity, consistency, grammar, and formatting errors, ensuring they meet quality standards and adhere to the intended tone and style.
- **Formatting**: Format scripts according to industry standards, including proper pagination, font, margins, and other formatting conventions.
- **Script Coverage**: Provide script coverage by summarizing scripts, analyzing strengths and weaknesses, and offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- **Revision Management**: Assist in managing script revisions, keeping track of changes, version control, and ensuring all stakeholders have the latest updates.
- **Coordination**: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and communications for the scriptwriting team, including scheduling and organizing brainstorming sessions, read-throughs, and script meetings.
- **Research and Development**: Assist in developing new script ideas, concepts, and pitches, including conducting market research and identifying potential opportunities for script development.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing scripts and reference materials, and maintaining project databases and records.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with other members of the production team, including directors, producers, and fellow writers, to ensure alignment and coherence in storytelling and script development.
- **Deadline Management**: Assist in managing deadlines and timelines for script deliverables, ensuring that scripts are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
- **Continued Learning**: Stay updated on industry trends, screenwriting techniques, and best practices through reading scripts, attending workshops, and seeking professional development opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- **Excellent Writing Skills**: Strong writing skills with the ability to write clear, engaging, and compelling script content, adhering to proper grammar, syntax, and storytelling conventions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and editing scripts for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- **Creativity**: Creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to generate original ideas, concepts, and narrative twists.
- **Familiarity with Screenwriting Formats**: Knowledge of standard screenwriting formats and conventions, including screenplay structure, dialogue formatting, and scene descriptions.
- **Collaborative Spirit**: Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team, take direction, and contribute ideas in a constructive and professional manner.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- **Educational Background**: A bachelor's degree in English, creative writing, film studies, communications, or a related field is often preferred, although relevant experience and demonstrated skills may also suffice.
