Job Description: Guidewire Rating Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for rating solutions.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the Guidewire Rating module.

2. System Design and Configuration:

- Design and configure rating algorithms and rules within the Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Ensure that rating configurations align with business requirements and regulatory standards.

3. Implementation and Testing:

- Work closely with the development team to implement and test rating configurations.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests (UAT).
- Identify and resolve defects during the testing phase.

4. Documentation and Training:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for rating configurations, processes, and workflows.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on new rating features and functionalities.

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Monitor the performance of rating systems and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in insurance rating and Guidewire technologies.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a focus on rating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, specifically in the Rating module.
- Experience in analysing and configuring rating algorithms and business rules.
- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and reports.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of SQL and other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Certifications:

- Guidewire certifications are highly desirable.

Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year
