Inc42 Media is looking for a Finance and Accounting Intern to bolster our finance department. This role presents an exciting chance for practical involvement in diverse finance and accounting tasks. We're looking for someone who's detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possesses robust analytical abilities. This internship offers valuable real-world exposure and the potential to transition into a full-time position within six months, contingent upon performance and business requirements.

What you'll do

Assist in month-end closing procedures, encompassing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Maintain precise and well-organized financial records and documentation.

Aid in analyzing and resolving discrepancies in financial data.

Assist in preparing financial reports and Management Information Systems (MIS).

Contribute to analyzing financial data and trends to facilitate decision-making processes.

Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and document organization.

Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks.

**What we are looking for**:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferably, a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

A foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally Prime.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

**Duration**: 6 Months (Immediate joiners required)
