Junior Architectural Technician

**ROLE DEFINITION**

Junior Architect is responsible for assisting the team in the preparation of design brief, concept design, tender documents and working drawings. They are also responsible for coordination with vendors and contractors to ensure design fidelity and smooth execution of projects at Mandira Design Studio

The role works under the direct supervision of an Architect or Lead Designer with the goal of eventually advancing to those higher positions after additional years of experience.

**RESPONSIBILITY**

1. Preparation of CAD drawings, 3D models and Project information metrics

2. Ensuring stagewise completion of project deadlines

3. Coordination with Vendors and Contractors

4. Develop skills and knowledge to grow in to a Project Architect

**1. Preparation of CAD drawings, 3D models and Project information metrics**
- Creating accurate plans, sections, elevations, site plans, contour maps, detailed working drawings, diagrams, sanction metrics, tender documents +drawings, rendering, presentation sheets, composition of portfolios, making physical models
- utilizing softwares such Bricscad, Lumion, PhotoShop, InDesign, Microsoft Word and Excel.

**2. Ensuring stagewise completion of project deadlines**
- Assisting the project architect in adhering to the project schedule and deliverables.Planning and scheduling targets for each project and daily updating the project lead on the status, breakthroughs, breakdowns and potential roadblocks towards stage wise completion.

**3. Coordination with Vendors and Contractors**
- Sourcing and appropriation of the right materials and technology for the specific needs of every project.
- Clear communication with contractors by issuing drawings and instruction on design inputs and decisions.
- Follow up with contractors and vendors to ensure project schedules and timelines are fulfilled.

**4. Develop skills and knowledge to grow in to a Project Architect**
- After completion of the project stage submission for the week, Jr Architect shall accompany Project Architect for Client meetings and discussions.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- Demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD ,3d Modelling and rendering
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an architectural firm
- Proficiency with 3D Rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹144,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Architectural design: 1 year (preferred)
