- Responsibilities_
- _Develop and assess collection strategies to optimize the recovery of outstanding balances._
- _Generate and analyze AR aging reports, prioritizing customer accounts based on collections strategies._
- _Escalate accounts within the customer's organization and internally as per collection strategy._
- _Take necessary actions, including legal steps, to expedite resolution._
- _Gather necessary information and prepare documents for settlement cases._
- _Approve installment and settlement plans within the scope of authority._
- _Track and follow up on customer payment promises related to settlements._
- _Escalate accounts and take necessary actions for resolution, including legal steps._
- _Prepare documentation/reports for governance meetings with Key Accounts Managers._
- _Manage bad debt write-offs, including forecasting, approval, and reconciliation._
- _Initiate refund requests for credit balances upon customer request._
- _Create refund reports, reconciling requests with payments received._
- _Review daily unidentified remittances report and assist with payment clearing._
- _Perform customer accounts reconciliation._
- _Respond to inquiries from customers or internal stakeholders regarding account reconciliations._
- _Engage resolution owners for timely dispute resolution._
- _Research and resolve disputes, including collaboration with internal and external stakeholders._
- _Provide support for escalated dispute cases and inform customers of resolution outcomes._
- _Manage customer deductions by obtaining backup documentation, reviewing documents, and assessing eligibility/validity._
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum qualifications_
- _Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field_
- _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills._
- _Excellent communication and negotiation abilities._
- _Previous experience in governance meetings and managing relationships with Key Accounts Managers_
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement._
- _Familiarity with industry regulations related to collections and dispute resolution._
- _In-depth knowledge of collections strategies, best practices, and their integration within SAP systems._
- _Hands-on experience in navigating complex collections and dispute scenarios._
