ROLE DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of operating an Electroplating line- Facility Establishment
- Erection, Commission of Ni plating line
- Prepare parts for nickel plating
- Prepare solution for Ni Plating, monitor solution during production
- Inspect parts after nickel plating
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the plating shop
- Set, start, and shut down nickel plating line
- Works with chemical laboratory to maintain solution parameters
- Assist in the maintenance of the plating tanks
- Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed
- Work closely with department and production supervisors to coordinate and schedule priorities on the line
- Reads and accurately interpret shop paperwork, provides feedback on issues and changes
- Knowledge on E&I, C&I for plant operation through SCADA.
- Performs other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company
- Hands on facility Operation
- Product development and manufacturing knowledge
- Knowledge on typical Electrolyser will be added advantage
- Documentation as per ISO 9001
- ANY OTHER SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
- Strong Chemistry background
- Plating/Metal Finishing experience
- Shop Floor Job
- Handling Contract Workman
- Good Organizational skills
