The Procurement Executive is responsible for the management of inventory, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools and equipment used in ship building and repair. This role ensures the accuracy of inventory records, maintains and supports the overall efficiency of the operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Inventory Management**
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and transactions.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Update inventory management system with accurate and timely data.

**Issuance and Return**
- Issue tools and equipment as requested.
- Record and track issued items, ensuring timely return and proper usage.
- Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage and arrange for repairs or replacements as necessary.

**Warehouse Organization**
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Implement and maintain proper storage methods to prevent damage and ensure easy access.
- Label and categorize items appropriately for efficient retrieval.

**Procurement Support**
- Collaborate with the procurement team to reorder stock as needed.
- Provide input on the selection and acquisition of new tools and equipment.
- Monitor and report on stock levels to prevent shortages.

**Safety and Compliance**
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety.

**Other Requirements**
- The role requires frequent travel to various company sites across India to oversee, manage on-site inventory and for verifying accountability of spares, tools and equipment.
- Work in different environments, including warehouses, construction sites, and offices.
- Physical work involving lifting and moving equipment.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or certification in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or similar role in a shipbuilding or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in shipbuilding and repair.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi)

Pay: From ₹140,000.00 per month
