The Opportunity

Nature of Employment: Contract

Sportskeeda is looking for highly motivated and passionate gaming writers with an understanding of everything video games. Applicants must be able to write news, guides, and listicles on video games across various genres. This position will operate remotely on a freelance basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write 3-4 articles per day within a range of 400-1500 words. The type of articles will be guides, news, listicles, general features, and others.
- Write at least 60-70 articles a month.
- Experience working at another gaming media house is optional but recommended.
- Working knowledge of different video game genres, upcoming titles, and an eagerness to learn.
- Have a strong command of the English language. We are looking for people who can’t stand grammar errors in a sentence.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven knowledge in writing video games.
- Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of the AP style is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of on-page SEO, Google Trends, and related keyword research tools will be an asset.
- Must have excellent time management skills and should be able to work with mínimal supervision.
