Position: Junior Counsellor
**Location**: Satara, Maharashtra
**Education Requirement**: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
**Experience**: 0-2 years of counseling experience (fresh graduates with internships or relevant certifications are welcome)
**Salary**: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:
- **Provide Counseling Services**: Conduct individual counseling sessions to assist clients with academic, career, or personal issues.
- **Assess Client Needs**: Use initial assessments and discussions to understand client concerns and establish counseling goals.
- **Develop Action Plans**: Help clients develop actionable plans for their personal and academic growth, setting realistic and attainable goals.
- **Maintain Confidentiality**: Ensure client confidentiality, following ethical guidelines and maintaining secure client records.
- **Record-Keeping and Reporting**: Keep accurate records of sessions, progress, and client notes, reporting outcomes to senior counselors or supervisors as needed.
- **Assist in Workshops and Group Sessions**: Support senior counselors in organizing and conducting group counseling sessions or workshops for personal and academic development.
- **Communication with Parents/Guardians (if applicable)**: Provide updates to parents or guardians, respecting confidentiality, to help support minors' development.
- **Stay Updated on Counseling Techniques**: Participate in training and workshops to stay current with new counseling methods and tools.
