Staff Nurse

**Job description**

- **6 Hours Duty (Rotational shift)**
- **ANM/GNM/B.sc Nursing**
- **Experienced/ Fresher**
- **Ensure nursing care to the patients in the entire process from admission to discharge as per the protocol.**
- **Takes rounds with Consultant / NS and report the conditions of the patient**
- **Administers all the drugs as per the Consultant instruction**
- **Maintain nursing reports and records such as admission ,discharge registers, treatment records, medicines, injections etc**
- **Maintain all reports of laboratory, ECG and other investigations**
- **Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of the equipment according to the requirement**
- **Attention to prevention of hospital cross function**
- **Ensure comfort of the patients and educates patient's family members according to the need**
- **Implement all emergency care on demand as per the protocol.**
- **Helps in shifting patients according to the requirement.**
- **Maintain continuity through clear and concise(verbal and written ) communication**
- **Takes responsibility of caring for all medical equipments and other items in the unit realizing the need for cost effective and safe nursing care.**
- **Supervision of housekeeing staff. Getting patients rooms are cleaned.**
- **Any worsening condition of the patient must be reported to the DMO/ Consultant/ In-charge.**
- **Replenishment of expandable and obtaining replacement of unserviceable,non expandable items, in accordance with standing orders.**
- **Demonstrate willingness to adjust the work pattern as directed by the superior. Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient and family.**
- **Participate actively in the unit based and organizational quality management.**
- **Upholds the nursing code of ethics and acts as a role model to other staff members.**
- **Document patient care in a manner that is clear, complete and concise**
- **Ensure proper disposal of wastages as per the Bio Medical waste Management protocol.**
- **Coordinate with inter department as required**
- **Additional duties as assigned or deemed necessary for effective business**

**Salary**: ₹8,500.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
