Fabric Incharge

As the Fabric Warehouse In Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the fabric warehouse. Your primary duties will include managing inventory, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing productivity within the fabric warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all fabric inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing fabrics.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies, losses, and damages.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records with physical stock.

Order Fulfilment:
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to fulfill fabric requirements according to production schedules.

Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatching of fabric orders to meet customer demands.

Monitor order accuracy and quality standards during the fulfillment process.

Warehouse Operations:
Organize the layout of the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of fabrics.

Supervise receiving and inspection processes for incoming fabric shipments, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Implement best practices for warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barasat - 700124, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
