**Job Description: Cashier & Café Assistant for 24-Hour Store**

**Position Title**: Cashier & Café Assistant

**Location**: Kharar, Punjab

**Reports To**: Store Manager / Shift Supervisor

**Position Type**: Full-Time / Part-Time

**Shift**: Flexible (Day/Night/Weekend Shifts Available)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Cashier Duties**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- **Transaction Handling**:

- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure product displays near the register are neat and appealing.

**Café Assistant Duties**:

- **Food & Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Assist in the preparation of light meals and snacks, following health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure food and beverage items are presented attractively and are of high quality.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Take customer orders at the café counter.
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
- Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor with all customers.
- **Café Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a high level of customer service.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle hot and cold food items.
