**Role Overview**:
As a Solar Project Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of solar energy systems. You'll be responsible for creating and optimizing solar designs that align with customer needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with our engineering, sales, and installation teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solar projects from inception to completion.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand client requirements, project objectives, and site specifications.

Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create detailed solar designs, including PV system layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications.

Conduct thorough site assessments to analyze solar potential, shading analysis, and system feasibility.

Perform energy production simulations and economic analysis to optimize system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, local regulations, and permitting processes.

Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, technical drawings, and construction plans.

Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in design methodologies.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

Proven experience in solar project design, preferably [mention specific years of experience or range].

Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.) and other relevant tools.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar components, and PV array configurations.

Familiarity with energy storage systems and integration is a plus.

Knowledge of local and national solar regulations and permitting processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical data.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present project proposals to clients.
