**Core Responsibilities**

1. **Test Planning and Strategy**: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and healthcare regulations. - Define the scope, objectives, and criteria for testing activities.

2. **Test Design and Execution**: Design detailed test cases and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Execute various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing).

3. **Automation**: - Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. - Maintain and update the automation framework.

4. **Compliance and Regulatory Testing**: Ensure that the software complies with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). - Conduct validation and verification activities to meet regulatory standards.

5. **Defect Management
- Identify**, document, and track defects using a defect management system. - Work closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

6. **Performance Testing**: - Conduct performance testing to ensure the software can handle high volumes of data and concurrent users. - Analyze performance test results and recommend optimizations.

7. **Security Testing**: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection. - Collaborate with security teams to address any identified issues.
