Steward Job Description for a Women-Run, Women-Operated Vegan Cafe

As a Steward at our women-run, women-operated **Vegan Cafe **, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our customers and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

**Responsibilities**:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and glassware according to health code regulations. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and microwaves. Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, countertops, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with local regulations. When not busy with cleaning tasks, assist the kitchen staff with various duties, such as food preparation and serving.

**Qualifications**:
Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work.

Pay: ₹9,378.90 - ₹21,795.35 per month
