**Job Summary**:
The Sandwich Artist is responsible for preparing and assembling sandwiches and other food items according to the restaurant's standards and customer specifications. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, handling food preparation, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area. The Sandwich Artist ensures that all food is prepared quickly, efficiently, and safely while delivering excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the restaurant.
- Take customer orders accurately, including preferences for sandwich ingredients, condiments, and other menu items.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions regarding ingredients and dietary restrictions.
- Assist with any special requests or customizations in a timely manner.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare sandwiches and wraps to order, following food safety and quality standards.
- Slice bread, meats, cheeses, and vegetables to the appropriate thickness.
- Assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.
- Ensure food preparation areas are well-organized and all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Prepare salads, soups, and other menu items as required.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times, following all food safety regulations.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment after each use.
- Ensure that the food prep areas, storage areas, and dining areas are cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
- Dispose of waste and food scraps regularly to maintain a clean environment.
- **Inventory and Stocking**:

- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or expiration dates to the manager.
- Replenish ingredients and supplies as needed during the shift to ensure efficient operation.
- Ensure that stock is rotated and stored according to food safety guidelines.
- **Cash Handling and POS System**:

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer orders and handle payments.
- Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide customers with receipts and change as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including hand washing, using gloves, and avoiding cross-contamination.
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling food preparation equipment, including knives, ovens, and slicers.
- Follow all company guidelines for food preparation, safety, and quality control.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification (may be required or offered upon hiring).
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in food preparation, customer service, or the restaurant industry (preferred, but not required).
- **Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific food preparation instructions.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
