Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct telephonic consultations with prospective students to understand their educational objectives and assess their proficiency level in English language tests (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL).

2. Provide personalised guidance and recommendations on suitable test preparation strategies, study materials, and resources tailored to each student's needs and goals.

3. Assist students in setting realistic score targets and developing customized study plans to optimise their performance in the IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL exams.

4. Deliver informative and engaging presentations and workshops on test preparation strategies, exam formats, scoring criteria, and admissions processes.

5. Offer ongoing support and encouragement to students throughout their test preparation journey, addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter.

6. Stay updated on the latest developments in standardized testing policies, procedures, and preparation techniques to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.

7. Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes, share best practices, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the counseling services.

8. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes using the company's CRM system.

9. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Linguistics, English Literature, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Tele-counsellor, Education Counselor, or similar role, preferably in the field of IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL preparation.
- In-depth knowledge of the IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL exams, including test formats, content, scoring criteria, and preparation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.
- Proficiency in using technology and online platforms for counselling sessions and virtual engagement.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
- Certification in counselling or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NLP, Counselling Psychology) will be an advantage.
