The roles and responsibilities of a junior accountant would include

1. Preparation and Consolidation of Financial Statements:
Gather and organize financial data to prepare various financial statements.

Consolidate financial information from different sources.

2. Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management:
Update and maintain records of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

3. Assistance in Financial Statement Processing:
Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.

Ensure compliance with company accounting and financial guidelines.

4. Expense and Payroll Record Review:
Review expenses and payroll records for accuracy and compliance.

5. Vendor Payments:
Process payments to vendors in a timely manner.

6. TDS Remittance and Challan Verification:
Verify and monitor monthly TDS remittance and Challans.

7. Taxation Management:
Manage and make payments for various taxes such as TDS, Service Tax, PF, Professional Tax, ESI, Sales Tax, etc.

8. Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information.

9. Accounting Record Maintenance:
Maintain accounting records using balance sheet analysis and general ledger accounts.

10. Database Management:
Assist in securing sensitive financial data by assisting with database creation and maintenance.

11. Journal Entries and Error Correction:
Correct accounting errors and post journal entry adjustments as needed.

12. Fixed Asset Management:
Prepare fixed asset depreciation schedules and accruals.

13. General Ledger Maintenance:
Update and maintain general ledger accounts, including tracking accounts receivable details and control accounts.

14. Preparation of Reports:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management analysis according to company procedures.

15. Day-to-Day Bookkeeping:
Record day-to-day transactions such as expenses, income, sales, and purchases for all companies.

16. Petty Cash Handling:
Maintain and handle petty cash and keep accurate records.

17. Reconciliation of Ledgers and Accounts:
Reconcile all ledger and account balances to ensure accuracy.

18. GST Data Preparation:
Compile and prepare data for GST filing each month.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 per month
