Overview:
This role will act as the technical lead for the Development Solutions Operations team. This role will act as the SME for the development tools. The role will manage the assignments and daily work of the 2 employees on the tools team as the lead for Azure DevOps and other DevSecOps tools like Artifactory, SonarQube, MyEclipse and will be responsible to ensure support for the tools are carried out within SLA. This role will not have HR responsibilities. The role will ensure change and release management, upgrades, migrations are done correctly as well as acting as development lead, providing final approval for code changes and ensuring correct methodologies are followed. The role will also be responsible for infrastructure management of all resources: This includes but is not limited to the ongoing patching and replacement for databases and servers. As a DevSecOps lead for the team, constant and effective process improvement will be expected. This role covers a wide range of technical areas and will require someone willing to learn constantly and embrace change fearlessly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as primary process owner for all tools managed by the Development Solutions team, including Azure DevOps, Artifactory, and SonarQube, working with the other members of the team to ensure all support activities (upgrades, support requests, server management, cloud implementations) are carried out on time and on budget.
- Own all schemas and AD Groups managed by the team and provide primary approval and governance
- Act as primary support for StarTeam forms and interfaces until StarTeam is retired
- Ensure team is following best practices for Code (Code Reviews, Unit Testing, Branching Strategies etc) and implement changes as needed
- Ensure team is following best practices for Build/Pipeline (Code coverage scans, Unit Testing Scans, Migrations, Change and Release management in Azure DevOps, Artifactory)
- Lead the documentation for all area of DevSol support and ensure SharePoint Web sites are kept up to date with latest information
- Manage team infrastructure including the replacements of servers and databases as needed to ensure old technology is not retained beyond expected end dates
- Keep up to date on the latest technologies being introduced by CTO and lead the Development Solutions team to integrate them into current DevSecOps tools and processes
- Ensure interfaces are maintained and kept up to date
- Manage daily work of two L07 resources in the DevSol team, taking direction as needed from the Sr Manager.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS is required
- 5 to 10 years minimum experience in a IT related role is mandatory.
- 1 to 2 years development experience in at least one of the following technologies (Java,.Net, Python, Oracle, PowerShell)
- Direct experience using Azure DevOps, Artifactory and SonarQube is desired
- Direct experience with Oracle databases is preferred, but must show a good understanding of database principles
- Experience in managing the tasks of others and maintaining accountability is required
- Technical knowledge of PepsiCo tools, processes and best practices is a plus
- Some development experience required
- Ability to manage others associates work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, while completing assigned tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills to a group is essential
