a) Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & AH) from a University included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984) with registration in the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.
b) The veterinarian must have domicile from the state of Assam and fluent in speaking Assamese and acquainted with local language. The local veterinarian in the area having above mentioned qualifications shall be given preference during selection by the service provider. The second preference shall be given to residents of adjoining region and so on.
c) To work under the direct supervision of the Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam through the Nodal Officer (MVU).
d) Responsible to decide on directing the MVU on the basis of emergent nature of the veterinary case as per call received in Call Centre.
e). Responsible for monitoring the movement and use of the MVUs.
f). Responsible for monitoring the inbound calls through the Unique ID generated for each farmer and final closure report of the call.
g) Responsible for offering telemedicine to farmers on non
- emergent nature of the veterinary cases.
h) Responsible to communicate with the local Veterinary Officer and Veterinary Field Assistants of the stationary Hospital/Dispensaries of the Department if the veterinary case originated from a village located within 2 KM radius of the stationary Veterinary Field Units for disease investigation, treatment and follow up.
**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹56,100.00 per month
