**Position Summary**:
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Conduct daily safety toolbox talks.
- Conduct risk assessment of critical activities.
- Conduct inspections at the workplace and circulate the findings to responsible departments along with recommendations for improvements.
- Verify the emergency management provisions and ensure their workability.
- Ensure all workplace incidents / near misses are reported and investigated.
- Conduct awareness trainings as per the training matrix.
- Maintain the inventory of EHS equipment.

Skills & Abilities Required:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good people management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physically capable and willingness to work in rotating shifts.
- Ability to Read/Write/Speak in the local language. (Gujarati)

Education Qualification & Experience required:

- Full time Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Science along with PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) / ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)
- NEBOSH IGC (Not OBE)
- Minimum 5 years in Engineering / Chemical industries.
