Structured hybrid role:
Introduction

The Governance, Risk & Control (GRC) team provides the following services:

- Provision of cyber security Management Information (MI) to assess the effectiveness of the cyber security programme and control environment within BI
- Providing tracking, oversight and support to enable a timely and high-quality response to all issues raised whether self-identified or raised by 2LOD or by BIA
- Undertake proactive thematic analyses to identify opportunities to continue enhancement of risk management
- Delivery of group-wide GRC related assessments and reporting activities

What will you be doing?
- Management of all BI Cyber and Information Security related MI (including MI repositories)
- Perform insightful analysis to draw sound conclusions to present to senior stakeholders relating to Cyber Security, using a blend of both qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Support delivery of all group-wide GRC related assessments, including ownership of the assessment schedule
- Delivery of actionable MI and reporting to key stakeholders of compliance against Barclays Control Framework (BCF) requirements
- Through education and awareness, driving a culture of continuous improvement based on the outcome of MI analysis

What we’re looking for:

- Strong analytical experience, with a focus on risk and control environments
- Experience of Governance, Risk and Control within a large enterprise level environment
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to multitask effectively and deliver on commitments
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex and detailed topics to a wide variety of audiences

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Good working knowledge of Cyber Security, with the ability to translate technical content into language that resonates with a non-technical audience
- Good knowledge of Operational / Enterprise Risk Frameworks and how these are implemented into a business
- Awareness of regulatory and legislative requirements
