Freelance Fundraising

Development of fund-raising strategies for ALKAL:
Develop the fund-raising strategy for ALKAL and operational plans around the same to ensure a steady stream of funds for goals

Work with the Managing Trustee to integrate their specific needs into the fundraising strategies; review these on a regular basis.

Participate in and contribute to the annual planning processes to get a full view of funding requirements

2. Fund Raising:
Develop innovative methods for resource mobilization and also responsible for the fundraising budget

Plan out & write funding proposals in line with ALKAL requirements and funding guidelines; these proposals are based on a sound understanding of funder requirements, including accountabilities, reporting commitments, fund utilization areas, etc.

Build a strong relationship with funders - corporate and individual and ensure accurate information is maintained on MIS for funds utilization.

Responsible for setting and handling up meetings with potential funders

Ensure that donor reports meet requirements and timelines too

Research and identify online portals for funding

3. Donor Relationship & Engagement:
Develop and strengthen new donor relationships, ensuring that the organization maintains effective communications and good relations with donors/funders. Have a steady communication channel with them.

Understand any changes in funder priorities

Identify new funding opportunities

Visibility to ALKAL:

- Represent ALKAL Foundation at various networking events and fundraising forums
- Organize fundraising events as per the strategy and operational plan for the year
- Work closely with Masoom’s Communications Manager to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Manage public relations and actively pursue exposure in the media with a view to increasing ALKAL visibility

**Salary**: ₹9,907.51 - ₹40,296.33 per month
