Housekeeping Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Team Supervision**: Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness standards are met in guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces.
- **Daily Inspections**: Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- **Inventory & Supplies Management**: Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and guest amenities. Ensure inventory is stocked and order supplies as needed.
- **Task Scheduling**: Organize the daily housekeeping schedule, ensuring that rooms are cleaned in a timely manner and ready for guest arrivals.
- **Collaboration with Other Departments**: Coordinate with the front desk, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requests, maintenance issues, and special room arrangements.
- **Training & Development**: Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing development for the team to ensure adherence to the resort’s high standards.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property.
- **Guest Interaction**: Address any housekeeping-related guest complaints or requests in a prompt, professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- **Event Space Preparation**: Oversee the cleaning and setup of event spaces before and after weddings, corporate functions, and other events.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead a team of housekeeping staff.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen eye for detail to ensure that all rooms and public spaces meet luxury standards.
- **Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure that rooms are cleaned on schedule.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, other departments, and guests professionally.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to address guest complaints or issues efficiently and with a guest-first attitude.
- **Health & Safety Knowledge**: Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
