**Role and Responsibilities**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Project Development and Regulatory (Land Acquisition). In this role, you will be responsible for managing the land acquisition and regulatory processes for our projects in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with government officials, including UPTCL, UPPCL site/circle offices, district administration, and Gram Panchayat
- Ensuring compliance with orders, regulations, and policies of Uttar Pradesh states
- Utilizing your exhaustive knowledge of relevant acts, policies, and procedures, such as the Electricity Act 2003, National Tariff Policy 2016, IEGC 2010, SRLDC Operating Procedures, and CERC/SERC Regulations
- Managing land liaison activities and maintaining a good understanding of land documents
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and local communities
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to provide support and guidance on land acquisition and regulatory matters

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in land acquisition and regulatory approvals
- A good understanding of the orders, regulations, and policies of Uttar Pradesh states
- Exhaustive knowledge of acts, policies, and procedures related to the energy sector, such as the Electricity Act 2003, National Tariff Policy 2016, IEGC 2010, SRLDC Operating Procedures, and CERC/SERC Regulations
- Strong liaison skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and the local language
- Experience working on solar power projects in Uttar Pradesh will be preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools
