**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychological and emotional well-being, including risk assessments and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, etc.).
- Offer support, guidance, and coping strategies to help clients address underlying emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues contributing to addiction.
- Monitor and track client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, medical staff, and social workers, to provide holistic care for clients.
- Facilitate psycho-educational sessions and group therapy to address topics related to addiction recovery, mental health management, coping skills, and relapse prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in high-risk situations (e.g., suicidal ideation, acute relapse).
- Encourage family involvement in the recovery process through family counseling sessions and educational workshops.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and trends in addiction treatment and mental health care.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required).
- Certification or licensure as a Counsellor, Clinical Psychologist, or a relevant professional designation (required).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in addiction counselling, psychiatric rehabilitation, or a related mental health setting.
- Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, addiction treatment methodologies, and mental health conditions.
- Experience using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and relevant legal standards in addiction and mental health treatment.
- Crisis management skills and ability to handle sensitive and high-stress situations.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to therapy and client needs.

**Desirable Qualities**
- Experience in working with both mental health and addiction clients.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Fluency in additional languages (a plus, depending on location).
- Ability to work with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity.

**Working Conditions**
- Work in a clinical environment with both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Evening and weekend shifts may be required based on client needs.
- May involve occasional crisis situations requiring immediate attention.

Pay: ₹10,692.85 - ₹38,889.79 per month
