Paralegal

Job Description: Patent Paralegal (1-2 years of experience)

Location: Faridabad, India

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Patent Paralegal with 1-2 years of experience to join our legal team at our Faridabad location. As a Patent Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patent prosecution and intellectual property (IP) practice.

**Responsibilities**:
Patent Docketing: Maintain and manage the patent docket system to ensure accurate tracking of patent deadlines, including responses to office actions, maintenance fee payments, and other critical dates.

Intellectual Property Research: Conduct research related to intellectual property matters, including patent law, regulations, and industry trends.

Document Management: Organize, review, and maintain patent-related documents, correspondence, and other relevant materials.

Communication: Coordinate and communicate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to gather information and facilitate the patent prosecution process.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including drafting correspondence, maintaining files, and preparing reports as needed.

**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience working as a Patent Paralegal or in a related role in a law firm, corporate legal department, or intellectual property consulting firm.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian patent prosecution procedures, patent rules, and docketing systems.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing patent-related documents.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, inventors, and legal professionals.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and assist attorneys and colleagues as needed.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and patent docketing software.
