**About the Department**
Corporate Patents - GBS (CP-GBS) together with Corporate Patents Denmark (CP-DK) and Novo Nordisk Inc. Intellectual Property Department (NNI-IPD) forms Novo Nordisk’s Global Patent Organization (GPO). CP-GBS provides Prior Art Searches (Novelty & Freedom of Operation Searches), Patent Prosecution and Patent Coordinator Support to GPO.

**The position**
- Collaborate globally with the patent coordinators/docket administrators in DK/US respectively and leverage/share best practices.
- Work hands-on with a fully electronic case management system and handle all formal matters relating to the case portfolio according to well described procedures.
- Work in close collaboration with a team of Patent Agents/Attorneys of the Global patent Organization as well as the Patent Administrators in Denmark.
- Supervise the work of less experienced colleagues as and when required by Manager.
- Have a huge attention to detail and a solid fundamental knowledge of IP prosecution process and the attendant timelines with the know-how to look up the patent office rules when they are not clear.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with excellent academic record.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command over written and spoken English is essential.
- Has at least 3+ years of experience as Associate Patent Coordinator at CP-GBS OR in a similar role outside CP-GBS, preferably in a law firm or a multinational company.
- Solid knowledge of patent formal matters related to European Patent Office (EPO), Indian Patent Office (IPO), Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and U.S. Patent & Trademark Office patenting procedures is also desirable.
- Sound knowledge of formal/procedural matters concerning EP and Indian patenting procedures.
- Should have process-oriented thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of common procedures in connection with handling incoming and outgoing case file correspondences.
- Experience in working with patent management tool/ IP Docketing Tools preferable Anaqua.
