The Video Editing Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team in creating compelling visual content for Teach For India. Gain hands-on experience in video editing for digital marketing campaigns and other promotional materials. Help shape the Teach For India brand through impactful video content and contribute to visually stunning videos that convey the organisation's mission and impact.

**This is a six-month, paid internship.**

**Team Overview**:
The National Communications team at Teach For India is the custodian of the brand. They handle everything related to brand communications, marketing, events, PR, design, merchandising, or any other aspect that authentically captures what Teach For India stands for. We innovate, create and optimise communication in the hope that we can inspire an entire collective of changemakers to contribute towards an excellent education for all children.

We collaborate and thought partner to come up with new ideas to generate creative content and publish it across digital media, listen to stories and capture them across formats, and think of all the platforms we can tap into to amplify these inspiring stories and design activations to immerse people in the Teach For India experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support in editing, producing videos, and videography for different platforms, including social media, website, and promotional materials.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team to develop video ideas and storylines consistent with our brand and communication goals.
- Utilise video editing software and tools to create visually appealing videos, incorporating elements such as music, graphics, and other visuals.
- Able to incorporate Stop-motion, typography, and animation for video graphics.
- Collaborate with the team to review and provide feedback on video drafts, making necessary revisions to achieve final high-quality videos.
- Stay informed about industry trends, video editing techniques, and software updates to enhance video production skills.

**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations**:

- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
- Basic understanding of video production principles, including video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the Marketing and Communications team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience or coursework in video editing, multimedia production, or related fields.
