**Vegetarian Cook - South Indian Restaurant**

**Position Overview**:As a Vegetarian Cook at our South Indian restaurant, you will play a crucial role in delivering an authentic and delightful culinary experience to our customers. Your expertise in preparing traditional South Indian vegetarian dishes will contribute to the overall quality and reputation of our establishment. You will be responsible for creating dishes that uphold the flavors, textures, and presentation that our customers expect.

**Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**:Prepare a wide range of vegetarian South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, curries, chutneys, and more, adhering to traditional recipes and cooking techniques.
Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in every dish.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

**Menu Execution**:Follow the restaurant's established recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served on time, meeting customer expectations for both taste and appearance.

**Recipe Innovation**:Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to explore creative variations of traditional dishes, bringing innovation while staying true to the essence of South Indian cuisine.
Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes that resonate with our customers.

**Quality Control**:Regularly taste and evaluate dishes to ensure they meet the required taste profile and standards.
Maintain quality control measures to prevent food wastage and uphold the reputation of the restaurant.

**Kitchen Organization**:Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and properly stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the kitchen manager.

**Team Collaboration**:Coordinate with fellow cooks, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Assist in training new kitchen staff, sharing your expertise in South Indian cuisine.

**Adherence to Health and Safety Regulations**:Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines, including correct storage, temperature control, and cleanliness.
Adhere to all local health and safety regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
