Hiring for Denim Designer for Retail Apparel and Fashion Company

**Job Location - Kolkata**

**Experience - 1 -4 Years**

**Industry Preference - **Apparel and Fashion/Lifestyle

**Responsibilities: -**
- Develop design strategies to stand out and compete with other denim brands.
- Develop strategic styles according to seasonal trend forecasts from verbal or written instructions concerning desired results.
- Introducing newness in designs based on multiple wash effects.
- Identify the right set of fabric suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing partners and even setup a specific sampling unit.
- Create a smooth coordination between design and production flow.
- Responsible for developing tech sheets according to the approved samples.
- Determine and establish specifications and standards.
- Make alterations or changes to facilitate production.

**Requirements/Skills: -**
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in denim (specially in washing techniques, patterns, and understanding of production flow).
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in apparel design.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills.
- Excellent sense of present fashion trends.
- Proficient with design software.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
