Solar Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Install solar-powered pumping systems according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Assemble and mount solar panels, inverters, controllers, and other system components on site.
- Connect and configure electrical wiring, sensors, and monitoring equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Test pump systems to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to solar pumps, electrical systems, and control mechanisms.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting pump components.
- Inspect system components for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion, and replace faulty parts as needed.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests, ensuring mínimal downtime for clients.
- Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems preferred.
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar-powered pumping systems or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly, installation, and repair tasks.
- Familiarity with basic plumbing principles and piping systems.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
