Job Description - Blaster (Aggregate Mine)

Location: Ankapalle, Vishakhapatnam - Andhra Pradesh
Industry: Mining (Aggregate & Quarry Operations)
Experience: 3-5 years in mining and blasting operations
Certification: DGMS Blaster Certificate (mandatory)

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle drilling and blasting operations as per mining regulations.
- Prepare and place explosives safely in designated locations.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS and safety standards for blasting activities.
- Conduct pre-blast and post-blast inspections to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with mine supervisors and site engineers for planned blasting activities.
- Maintain proper records of explosive usage and stock as per statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of explosives.
- Train and guide workers on safe blasting procedures.
- Monitor environmental impact and minimize blast vibrations and dust.
- Respond to any emergencies related to blasting operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Valid Blaster Certificate issued by DGMS.
- Knowledge of blasting techniques, explosives handling, and safety protocols.
- Experience in aggregate mining, quarrying, or stone-crushing operations.
- Strong understanding of ground conditions and drilling patterns.
- Ability to work under strict safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.

Preferred:

- Experience in open-cast mines.
- Familiarity with mechanized drilling and blasting equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
