As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the visual styling and images in a variety of mediums inclusive of, but not limited to books, magazines, newspapers, product packaging, websites, advertisements, etc. You will be expected to/ required to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs, overlooking the entire design process right from the design stage of the project till execution.

Up-to-date knowledge will be required to interpret our clients’ needs and to design solutions. Your work will require you to understand the design elements of projects; inspire the creative team and keep projects on budget and adhering to timeline.

You will be expected to determine the overall style and tones desired for each project and articulate your vision to the other designers who submit images such as illustrations, graphics, photographs, charts, graphs, etc.

We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new client or project. Applicants with experience leading creative teams and designing with other professionals will be given prime consideration.

**Key Responsibility Areas:

- **
- Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients’ needs
- Understanding of client needs and determining how best to represent the concept visually
- Constantly communicate with the clients to develop an artistic approach and style
- Determining which photographs, art or other design elements will be used
- Developing overall look or style of the campaign
- Supervising the creative team to prepare detailed working designs, drawings, models, schemes, etc. Using computer aided software
- Amending designs according to the clients' final comments
- Creating final designs and presenting options for design treatments
- Coordinating activities and other artistic or creative departments
- Proof-reading and preparing designs to be sent to print; this involves expert use of graphic design software
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects based on current client workload

**What is the work like?**
- Graphic Designer will be responsible for setting the overall artistic style and visual image to be created for each project, and oversee a staff of designers, artists, photographers, writers, or editors who are responsible for creating the individual works that collectively make up a completed product.
- Guiding the vision of the creative team; constantly inspiring them to explore creativity and originality while working within the constraints of the brand guidelines is an integral part of the role
- You will be responsible for identifying and understanding the different styles and flavours that each member of the team bring in and to carefully infuse them to complement one another for creating exciting and balanced sensory experience
- The role will also involve marrying together words and imagery, working closely with content and copywriters; creating structure and order through typography; providing emphasis which conveys message and meaning for easy understanding of the audience
- Additionally, good experience of having designed and dealt with powerpoint presentations, business decks, management decks, etc. Will be an added advantage.

**Required Skills:

- **
- Master's Degree in Fashion Communication / Fine Arts / Graphic Design / Applied Arts
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and Motion graphics
- Visual intelligence
- Ability to explore various creative formats including but not limited to animation, video, space design etc.
- 3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
- Adaptive design eye and skill
- Excellent communication skills
