**Summary**: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Application Architect to join our team. As a Java Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of highly scalable and robust integration platform leveraging Kafka with services built with Java SpringBoot. Your expertise in Java SpringBoot, RESTful web services, Linux, performance optimization, relational database SQL, object-oriented design, unit testing, and Agile/Scrum development practices will be crucial in driving the success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain highly scalable RESTful web services using best practices.
- Utilize your strong understanding of object-oriented design principles to create efficient and maintainable code.
- Conduct unit testing and promote test-driven development to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement Agile/Scrum development methodologies and best practices, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address technical challenges.

**Requirements**:

- Proven expertise in building highly scalable RESTful web services.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and open source technologies.
- Proficient in relational database SQL and experienced in working with databases.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- Previous experience with unit testing and test-driven development approaches.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
