Merchandiser (Knitwear)

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing merchandising activities related to knitwear products for our company. Your duties will involve
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Vendor management, cost negotiation, and collaboration with various departments to achieve business objectives. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, lead times, and quality requirements. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and quality improvements. Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager to expand the supplier base and diversify sourcing options.
- Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control procedures to ensure knitwear products meet specified standards and requirements. Conduct regular quality inspections at supplier facilities and address any issues or deviations promptly. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Cost Management: Analyze and negotiate production costs to optimize pricing while maintaining quality standards. Monitor and manage production budgets and cost targets, reporting any cost variances to the Sourcing Manager. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with suppliers to implement cost-effective solutions.
- Order Management: Manage and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order placement and shipment. Coordinate with suppliers to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines. Resolve any logístical or operational issues that may impact the timely delivery of goods. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, including ethical and environmental standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sourcing, contracts, and supplier performance. Collaborate with the Compliance team to address any compliance issues and implement necessary improvements.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
