Job Description: Junior Architectural Draughtsman

Location: Byculla West,

Our company is seeking a Junior Architectural Draughtsman to join our team at our office in Byculla West. As a Junior Architectural Draughtsman, you will be responsible for taking independent measurements of building sites and accurately plotting them using CAD software. Additionally, knowledge of quantity surveying will be required for this role.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct independent measurements: Independently visit building sites and accurately measure and document various dimensions, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.

2. CAD drafting: Utilize CAD software to create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and other necessary technical drawings.

3. Plotting: Transfer the measured dimensions and data onto CAD software, ensuring precise and accurate representation of the building site. Generate digital drawings and layouts based on the gathered measurements.

5. Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design concepts.

6. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date project files, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Ensure compliance with office standards and protocols.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional certification or diploma in architectural drafting or a related field is preferred.

2. CAD proficiency: Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create accurate architectural drawings. Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.

3. Measurement skills: Demonstrated ability to independently measure and document building sites accurately. Understanding of architectural measurement techniques and equipment is desirable.

4. Quantity surveying knowledge: Familiarity with quantity surveying principles and practices. Ability to estimate material quantities and costs based on architectural drawings and specifications.

5. Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, drafting, and documentation. Ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors in drawings and measurements.

6. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and convey information accurately and professionally.

7. Time management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently. Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

8. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, software, and industry standards. Openness to receiving feedback and incorporating changes into work processes.
