**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Teaching Chemistry**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to ensure effective understanding and learning outcomes.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

**2. Resident Tutor/Mentor**:

- Act as a resident tutor/mentor to students, providing academic support and guidance.
- Offer assistance with homework, assignments, and projects, addressing individual learning needs.
- Conduct regular mentoring sessions to monitor students' academic progress and provide advice on study techniques and time management.

**3. Exam Coach**:

- Prepare students for exams by developing tailored study plans and revision strategies.
- Conduct practice tests and review sessions to help students excel in Chemistry examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve students' exam performance.

**4. Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
- Manage student behavior and ensure adherence to school policies and guidelines.

**5. Collaborative Engagement**:

- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the Chemistry curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; Education degree or teaching certification is advantageous.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry to high school students or equivalent educational settings.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students towards academic excellence.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' holistic development.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques, educational technology, and assessment tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational trends.

**Additional Information**:This is a full-time position based at Escola, requiring flexibility in work hours to accommodate tutoring/mentoring sessions and exam preparation outside of regular class schedules.
