### **Position Overview**
The **Food & Beverage Associate** is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by assisting with food and beverage orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role involves working directly with customers, preparing tables, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that the dining environment meets high standards of service and hospitality.
### **Key Responsibilities**
1. **Guest Service**
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant or dining area.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, suggest menu items, and answer guest questions about ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality.
- Ensure that guests’ needs are met and respond to any complaints or special requests in a courteous and timely manner.
2. **Dining Area Setup and Cleanliness**
- Set up dining areas by arranging tables, chairs, and place settings according to restaurant standards.
- Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for the next set of guests.
- Ensure all areas of the dining room are clean and well-maintained throughout service, including floors, windows, and restrooms.
3. **Teamwork and Communication**
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Communicate any special guest requests or concerns to the supervisor or manager.
- Assist in other areas of the F&B operation as needed, including helping with food prep, restocking supplies, or clearing dishes.
4. **Cash Handling and Payment Processing**
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation of sales.
5. **Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations**
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety of both guests and staff.
- Follow procedures for handling food and beverages, including proper storage and handling of utensils and dishware.
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, including alcohol service rules, and ensure that these are followed.
### **Skills and Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a food and beverage or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail to ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for long periods, carry heavy trays, and move quickly as required.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
### **Working Conditions**
- **Physical Demands**: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift trays or objects up to 25-30 lbs, and move quickly during peak hours.
- **Environment**: Work in a fast-paced dining environment, often requiring multitasking and efficient time management.
- **Schedule**: Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
