You will provide first-line medical care in our International Assistance Centre, as part of a multi-professional clinical and assistance team.

Your role includes providing medical assistance, conducting telemedicine appointments and mental health assessments, contributing to ongoing assistance projects in a corporate environment, and engaging with professional development activities.

You report to the Lead Clinician, who will conduct regular performance reviews.

You are not responsible for any direct reports.

You are supported by all senior members of the assistance team.

This is a permanent office-based position, providing 24/7 medical support on a rota basis.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Case Management Overview
- Manage all aspects of medical case management, including notification, verification, authorization, task reassignment, handover, case closure, and escalation in line with Anvil’s customer service standards, your registration authority requirements, and according to national and international health care standards.

In your role you are required to:

- Communicate with healthcare professionals and patients globally
- Triage new clinical cases
- Provide first-line treatment advice
- Obtain and interpret medical information to assist in case management
- Arrange translation of medical reports
- Organise medical referrals
- Organise emergency medical admissions
- Organise medical extraction, evacuation, and repatriations
- Conduct mental health assessments
- Conduct telemedicine appointments
- Document all aspects of case management accurately and contemporaneously

- Participate in Anvil’s performance review and professional development programme
- Understand and utilise Anvil’s incident reporting, complaints and conduct procedures
- Maintain up-to-date professional registration and regulatory obligations relating to your registration
- Participate in the on-call rota
