Job Summary
The IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating end-user and technology issues for the Porch Group’s Information Technology department. This role will provide support to Porch Group employees.

What You Will Do As A IT Helpdesk Technician
- Set up, install, and maintain IT equipment, operating systems, and standard software for employees.
- Monitor and resolve help desk tickets, providing timely support for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Document IT knowledge base, maintain equipment inventory, and develop user guides and training.
- Perform re-imaging and redeployment of laptops and desktops.
- Manage user accounts, maintain security standards, and support patch management.
- Implement scripting and automation to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with IT team members to address complex issues and support ongoing projects.

What You Will Bring As A IT Helpdesk Technician
- Bachelor’s IT related degree or 4 years of professional experience in a related on-the-job experience.
- 3+ years of relevant corporate IT support operations work experience, preferably in a high-growth, dynamic SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of MS Windows and Mac OS X operating systems
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to assess prioritization by gauging business impact in consideration of competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple business functions.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and tasks and switch focus as necessary
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), and other relevant frameworks to ensure adherence to legal and security requirements.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing skills
- IT certifications are a plus
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
