Professional, Application Support

What does a successful Implementation Manager do at Fiserv?
- Manages resources and oversees multiple product implementations (Conversion, Merger etc) for new clients.
- Assess client requirements, develop scope, estimates, and create project plan and schedule to ensure implementation are completed on time and meet client requirements.
- Respond to pre and post implementation transition inquiries.

What You will do:

- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing new technologies and preparing employees within deadline, budget and client needs.
- Collaborate directly with project managers and business leaders to meet implementation goals.
- Guide company-wide technical system configuration, optimization and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and feedback throughout implementation life cycle.
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors project of small to high scope and budget, and partners with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of projects.

What you will need to have:

- Strong background and hand on on Implementation projects with different flavors like ETL, Conversion, etc
- Excellent Programming skills on PL/SQL
- Must have good command over SQL & PL/SQL concepts, PL/SQL debugging, Writing Packages, Stored procedures and functions,
triggers, views, Exception handling and their types, Constraints, Indexes and Partitions, Cursors and Oracle collections
- Excellent understanding of performance optimization
- SQL Queries, Stored Procedures and PL\SQL
- Must have proven experience working on large product.
- Provide a complete view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders.
- Exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in project planning activities, including but not limited to: defining the overall scope of the project; creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for project activities; identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts; putting mechanisms in place to set expectations and ensure on-going control of the project (e.g., kick off meeting, overall project management approach, risk management, issues management, change control, etc.);
- Define project governance; outlining roles and responsibilities and decision rights
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected project outcomes
- Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned to expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout project
- Ensure transparency throughout project lifecycle by proactively communicating progress on an on-going basis. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
- Experience of developing and maintaining project schedule using tools such as MS Project or Clarity.
- Create & maintain accurate project plans in Clarity with tasks identified and tracked accurately. Report all changes to schedule and scope on a timely basis.
- Deliver accurate weekly reports with project status.
- Conduct regular project meetings with team members to ensure project is staying on schedule, complete with agendas and minutes.
- Exposure to release and deployment activities.
- Role demands providing overlap in US time zone (first half US Central time)
