Introduction:
: An experienced Business Analyst / Project Owner is required to lead the analysis and requirement gatherings of Strategic reporting streams for Markets Trade Store and Reporting.
- Ensure Barclays compliance of this Reporting regulation from both a Technology and Operational stand point.
- Take the lead in planning, best practice, solutions, tracking, execution, and overall project management of the roll-out of cross asset class and cross functional trade reporting projects across the bank.
- This is joining a Global team, and while this role is focused on Strategic, projects are assigned based on demand, with current demand in APAC, EU and Americas.
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of the program and project delivery are scoped, planned, tracked, implemented and maintained post successful completion.
- Responsibilities across Post Trade Transparency and Transaction Reporting for Mifid2 obligations

What will you be doing?
- Key specific accountabilities.
- Project Owner: Ability to manage independently large scale cross asset and function implementations of new regulation and changes to existing regulatory commitments, meet business objectives and industry deadlines.
- Business analysis - Translate regulations into business requirements. Documentation and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Design and document business processes for new world view post regulation implementations. Ensuring business users are trained accordingly.
- Industry engagement: Act as Barclay’s representative in industry calls. Ensuring Barclays interest are taken into account and industry initiatives/items are appropriately disseminated
- Review of guidelines published by regulators; perform impact assessment and rules extraction to understand cross asset impact to Operations.
- Execution - Working with global cross functional team, agree defined action plan with owners and dates and follow through to delivery.
- Communication - ensuring all key stakeholders understand project milestones, risks and issues
- Working with legal, compliance, finance, risk and control to ensure firm-wide operational compliance
- Working with IT, Operations, Business and cross-asset colleagues to ensure coordinated Front to Back delivery
- Ownership of release plans and co-ordination of releases
- Guide a team of BA’s on the ground and build capabilities

What we’re looking for:
Your Skills and Qualifications will include
- Proven experience in a change/project management function in an international investment bank and / or a major consulting firm within financial services
- Strong proven analytical background
- Experience working with SQL and Databases is required for Data analysis
- Proven ability to deliver in matrix management environment without direct resource ownership
- Experience in process improvement analysis and business process reengineering.
- Strong knowledge of investment banking front to back processes and Operations.
- Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and how they work from trade capture down to Back Office.
- Strong track record of execution and results, high level of drive to meet deadlines and targets.
- Prior experience of working in an investment banking environment in regulatory reform or Trade Reporting (not compliance) programme
- Preferred experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of recent regulatory initiatives like Mifid2 within ESMA or other E.U regions
- Broad knowledge of Capital Markets banking products; Fixed income and/or Equity OTC Derivative product experience
