Job Summary: As a Jewellery Quality Assurance Manager, your role is vital in ensuring that all jewellery products meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and audits, and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to uphold quality control measures throughout the jewellery supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance Processes:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes and procedures for jewellery products.
- Establish quality control standards, specifications, and guidelines in line with industry best practices and customer requirements.
- Continuously review and improve quality assurance processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Supplier Quality Management:

- Evaluate, select, and onboard jewellery suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Inspections and Testing:

- Perform thorough inspections and testing of jewellery products at different stages of production, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Utilize quality control tools and techniques to identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct product performance testing, including assessments of durability, functionality, and safety.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control procedures, inspection reports, and test results.
- Generate quality metrics and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate quality trends to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance and Regulatory Standards:

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends related to jewelry quality and safety.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet legal requirements and protect consumer interests.
- Training and Education:

- Provide training and guidance to employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders on quality assurance processes and standards.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement through education and awareness programs.
- Promote quality consciousness and develop a sense of ownership among team members.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and reduce defects and rejections.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement projects and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (5-8 years) in jewellery quality assurance, preferably in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of jewellery materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and product testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
- Ability to interpret and analyse quality data and generate meaningful reports.
- Proficient in using quality tools, software, and systems.
- Familiarity with ethical sourcing practices and industry regulations.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
