Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The exception management oversight process is required to provide transparency of issues and reporting of exceptions within a governance framework. This role will be accountable to embed the control framework into an operating process to ensure sufficient governance, oversight and transparency of the exceptions being produced. In addition, the exceptions will need to be attributed to responsible owners and business areas for accountability and tracked through to closure within the appropriate breach management action applied. The role will require analysis of root causes, articulation of the problem statement and to tracking through to closure to mitigate the risk. The role will have responsibility to adapting and enhancing the controls to close gaps as they are identified.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the exception reporting process of tradability issues into Markets Controls & Governance Forums
- Tracking exceptions from creation & reporting through to closure. Determine root causes and thematic issues then identify actions to reduce the exceptions.
- Ensuring sufficient detail of underlying issues are reported in a clear and consistent manner which are easily understandable to those not close to the process.
- Tracking issues through to completion with decisions being made by those who have the responsibility to do so, and the outcomes documented.
- Reporting and data validation - Ensuring information provided by key functional teams is accurate and has sufficient level of detail to decide and close the issue.

What we’re looking for:

- Post Graduate (MBA/CA/ME)
- 4-6 years of work Experience in Risk & Controls domain
- Proven expertise in implementing robust end to end control and governance frameworks.
- Strong change/project management skills.
- Ability to plan timelines, direct resources (including technology), communicate various deliverables to multiple stakeholders and effectively manage stakeholders’ expectations
- Excellent relationship management skills are an essential part of this role, including interaction with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, strong organisational skills. Able to work at pace with accuracy and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines and in demanding/fast-paced environments.
- Team player with capacity for building strong collaborative and trusted relationships.
- Autonomous and ability to influence and deliver across stakeholder groups

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Very good attention to details and structured approach to handle multiple deliveries
- Advanced excel skills to analyse data, problem solving with data, data analytics, statistics etc.
- Demonstrates initiative and confidence in collaborative teamwork.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
